USA Prepares New Options for Military Operations in Iran

As reported by NBC News citing sources, the president and his national security team discussed the possibility of resuming military operations in the coming weeks before the midterm elections for the U.S. Congress, scheduled for November 3.
According to the report, members of Trump's national security team discussed the U.S. strategy regarding Iran and Yemeni Houthis at a meeting at Camp David last week. Following the meeting, the American military prepared new options for operations in Iran. No decisions have been made yet, the sources noted.
Earlier, The Atlantic magazine, citing sources, reported that the White House had tasked the Pentagon with developing options for strikes on Iranian targets that could be carried out before the midterm congressional elections. According to their information, a final decision has not yet been made, but Trump could give the order to strike before Election Day. Sources noted that the scale and targets of the potential strikes, as well as the question of whether they should be carried out, are still being discussed.
