Azerbaijan at the CIS Summit in Turkmenistan: National Interests as the Foundation of Cooperation

In its interaction within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Azerbaijan, guided by national interests, consistently strives to contribute to the development of regional ties and the strengthening of mutually beneficial relations among member states.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a report from the press center of journalists, prepared by Baku TV correspondent Khatira Mammadova, who was dispatched to Turkmenistan.

The report particularly highlighted the holding of the CIS Council of Heads of State meeting in a restricted format.

"Azerbaijan continues its cooperation within the CIS framework. Along with participating in the organization's activities, the country consistently follows its national interests and adheres to its own conceptual position," she emphasized.
