Gas has run out at all gas stations in a Russian city
On July 3, all gas stations in Novorossiysk ran out of gasoline. This was officially announced by the Municipal Control Center (MCC) of the city administration.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Russian media, the Municipal Control Center stated that gasoline is currently unavailable at all gas stations in Novorossiysk. In light of the current situation, authorities launched a special online map allowing residents to track fuel availability at city gas stations in real time. According to the published data, on July 3, gasoline was not available at any of the listed stations, while diesel fuel remained available.
According to the Russian outlet 93.ru, motorists are currently unable to purchase gasoline on the open market. However, refueling using corporate fuel cards, which companies issue to their employees, continues to be available.
Russian experts note that fuel supply disruptions in Novorossiysk have been ongoing for several weeks. The first signs of a shortage were recorded as early as June 10, and by early July the situation had noticeably worsened: motorists had to wait for hours at those gas stations where gasoline supplies still remained.
Local residents also report consequences of the fuel crisis for the city's infrastructure. According to them, air conditioning on public transport has stopped working, taxi fares have increased, and the number of cars on city streets has noticeably decreased.
