Large-scale personnel reshuffles carried out in the Armed Forces of Armenia

In the latest edition of the analytical program "War Chronicle" on Baku TV, an analysis and assessment of the latest personnel reshuffles in the Armed Forces of Armenia were aired. The authors paid special attention to the new appointment to the post of head of the National Defense Research University under the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

A rather noteworthy fact came to the attention of analysts: against the backdrop of large-scale rotations, the country's key military scientific research institution was headed by Colonel Artsrun Hovhannisyan. It should be recalled that since the 44-day war, both in Azerbaijan and in Armenia itself, he has been firmly associated with the ironic nickname "Storyteller Artsrun" — for the systematic dissemination of unreliable information about the course of hostilities.

The episode also emphasizes that the National Defense Research University, established in 2016, is Armenia's highest specialized educational institution. Its tasks include organizing strategic educational programs for the senior military-political leadership, as well as conducting fundamental scientific research in the field of regional security and military strategy.
