Over the past 24 hours, at least four people were killed and 18 others were injured as a result of attacks on the territories of Donetsk and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Ukrainian media, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadim Filashkin, stated that approximately 30 shellings of populated areas were recorded in the region over the past day.

According to the Ukrainian official, four civilians were killed in the strikes in the Donetsk region, and another 15 people sustained various injuries. Russian military forces continue to strike populated areas of the region, which, according to the Ukrainian side, poses a serious threat to the civilian population.

In addition, Kharkiv came under shelling. Three people were injured as a result of the attack. It is reported that a vehicle belonging to one of the city's municipal enterprises was damaged.

According to Ukrainian experts, the ongoing strikes on civilian infrastructure and residential areas are worsening the humanitarian situation in frontline regions and increasing the burden on emergency services and medical facilities.
