Armenia's Regulatory Body: There Are No Problems with Quality of Gasoline from Azerbaijan
No problems with the quality of gasoline imported from Azerbaijan have been recorded in Armenia.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this was stated at a press conference by the head of the Market Supervision Inspection Body, Armen Kotolyan.
According to him, samples of fuel from the imported batches underwent laboratory tests at the National Center for Standardization and Metrology of Armenia. The results showed that the quality of the gasoline meets the technical requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
"From the quality perspective, no violations have been detected. At the same time, during inspections of gas stations, we do not establish the country of origin of the fuel being sold," Kotolyan noted.
It should be noted that the first batch of Azerbaijani petroleum products was delivered to Armenia in December 2025. It included 1,220 tons of AI-95 gasoline.
The volume of the second batch of petroleum products amounted to 2,698 tons. The third batch of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia was sent on January 11, and its volume was 979 tons.
