Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran
Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Vahid Jalalzadeh, who is visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Baku and Tehran, as well as regional issues, was discussed.
Jalalzadeh provided detailed information about the recent tensions in Iran and the current situation. Minister Bayramov, in turn, emphasized the importance of stability in Iran and expressed condolences to the families of those who died in these events.
It was noted that contacts between the presidents of the countries, mutual visits, including the existing political dialogue, are important for the development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, and the discussion of issues of mutual interest contributes to the expansion of cooperation. The work of the State Commission on cooperation in economic, trade and humanitarian spheres was noted with satisfaction.
Discussing prospects for cooperation in transport and communications, the parties emphasized that a number of projects implemented by Azerbaijan and Iran play an important role in the development of transport corridors passing through our region.
At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
