SOCAR discussed strategic partnership with First Abu Dhabi Bank

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) discussed with the largest financial institution of the UAE - First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) - opportunities for strategic cooperation in the financial and energy sectors.

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf wrote about this on social media.

The meeting with FAB CEO Hana Al Rostamani took place within the framework of the World Economic Forum 2026 in Switzerland.

The parties exchanged views on SOCAR's corporate strategy, issues of energy security, innovation, digitalization and energy transition, and also discussed the prospects of "green energy," low-carbon solutions and sustainable development of the energy industry.
