Papoyan announced a decrease in gasoline prices after importing fuel from Azerbaijan
Armenia's Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan announced a decrease in gasoline prices in the country following the start of petroleum product supplies from Azerbaijan.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, the corresponding publication was posted on the politician's Facebook page.
According to him, the reduction in gasoline prices amounted to about 15%.
"Gasoline price: early December - 510 drams/liter (about 2 manats 30 qapiks - ed.), now - 430 drams/liter (about 1 manat 93 qapiks - ed.). The difference is 80 drams/liter or −15.7%.
Diesel fuel price: early December - 480 drams/liter, now - 410 drams/liter, the difference is 70 drams/liter or −14.6%," Papoyan wrote.
He noted that one of Armenia's major gas station networks, which also purchased petroleum products of Azerbaijani origin, will begin selling them at lower prices in the coming days.
Earlier, the head of Armenia's Ministry of Economy spoke on public television about the first economic results of the peace process with Azerbaijan.
Recall that on January 9, Azerbaijan sent the second batch of petroleum products to Armenia, and on January 11 - the third.
