Ramin Mamedov: Religious Tolerance Is One of the Key Directions of State Policy

Multiculturalism and religious tolerance are among the main directions of Azerbaijan's state policy.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Ramin Mammadov, speaking at the plenary session of the VII World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.

He noted that consistent measures are being taken in the country to protect freedom of religion, support the activities of religious communities, and prevent religiously motivated radicalism.

The head of the committee also emphasized the importance of involving youth in interreligious dialogue and promoting social solidarity.
