Oscar 2026 Nominees Announced

The American Film Academy has announced the nominees for the 2026 Oscar.

The broadcast was streamed on the academy's YouTube channel.

Ryan Coogler's horror film "Sinners" with Michael B. Jordan received the most nominations - 16, which is a record in the history of the award.

In second place is "Battle by Battle" by Paul Thomas Anderson with Leonardo DiCaprio, nominated in 13 categories.

"Frankenstein," "Marty the Magnificent" and "Sentimental Value" received 9 nominations each. "Hamnet" is competing for 8 awards.
