Protests in Iran: additional security forces deployed to Tabriz, Ardabil and Zanjan

Against the backdrop of ongoing mass protests in Iran, additional security forces and military units have been deployed to Tabriz, Ardabil, and Zanjan.

Note that yesterday activist Yurush Mehralibeyli, who demands protection of the rights of Turks in South Azerbaijan, was arrested. According to information, he was detained after posting a video on his Instagram page about the economic, social, and cultural situation in Iran. In the published video, he expressed support for the protest actions.
