In the Baku Military Court, under the chairmanship of Judge Zeynal Agayev, with judges Jamal Ramazanov and Anar Rzayev (reserve judge Gunel Samedova), on April 11, the trial continued regarding the criminal cases against citizens of the Republic of Armenia Araik Harutyunyan, Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, David Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, Levon Mnatsakanyan and others, accused of committing numerous crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including preparation and waging of aggressive war, genocide, violation of laws and customs of war, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, forcible seizure of power or forcible retention of power, and others.

As Report informs, at the court hearing, the accused were provided with an interpreter in the language they speak, as well as lawyers for defense.

The hearing was attended by the accused, their defenders, some of the victims, their legal successors and representatives, as well as prosecutors defending the state prosecution.

Judge Zeynal Agayev first explained the rights and obligations provided by law to the victims participating in the process for the first time.

The victims first gave testimony and then answered questions addressed to them by prosecutors supporting the state prosecution, representatives of the victims, and defenders.
