U-17: Eljan Hasanov lost to a Pole in the first bout

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Eljan Hasanov suffered a defeat in his first bout at the U-17 World Championship being held in Baku.

As Report informs, the athlete competing in the up to 60 kg weight category lost to Poland's Witold Pawlik 2:3 in the round of 16.

It should be noted that the World Championship is being held at the National Gymnastics Arena. Around 700 young wrestlers from more than 60 countries are participating in the competition. Azerbaijan is represented at the world championship by 29 athletes.
