President of Azerbaijan: Oil and gas will continue to dominate our economy

Several days ago, the State Program on the mining industry was adopted. It envisages numerous measures. These are the main directions of our development.

As reported by AZERTAC, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this at an event within the framework of the II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.

Emphasizing that oil and gas should not be forgotten, the head of state said: "This year, many new agreements have already been signed. In other words, oil and gas will continue to dominate our economy, creating wealth that will be reinvested."
