Araghchi commented on the statement by the French Foreign Minister regarding human rights in Iran
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded to a statement by his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot, who expressed concern about the human rights situation in Iran.
Araghchi published the corresponding statement on the social network X.
He reminded that during the war of independence, France killed 1.5 million Algerians, with less than a tenth of these cases officially acknowledged by Paris, and France has never apologized for its colonial crimes.
In addition, Araghchi reproached Barrot for his indifference to the attack on a school in Minab and called on Paris to refrain from "crocodile tears" regarding the human rights situation in Iran.
