Premier League: "Qarabag" defeated "Shafa" on home ground

As part of the 6th round of the Azerbaijan Misli Premier League in football, "Qarabag" faced "Shafa" at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium.

The match ended with a 1:0 victory for the Agdam club.

The only goal was scored in the 61st minute. Marko Jankovic converted a penalty awarded for a handball.

Following this victory, "Qarabag" accumulated 13 points and moved up to second place in the league standings. "Shafa" with three points occupies tenth place.

In the opening match of the round, "Neftchi" defeated "Gabala" 3:0.
