Companies managing trillions of dollars in assets are represented in Azerbaijan

The II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev, is an important international platform presenting the country's investment opportunities to the world's leading investors.

As Oxu.Az reports, the significance of the forum is determined not only by the global economic issues discussed at it, but also by the scale and level of investors who have arrived in Azerbaijan.

This year, the heads of leading companies in the global financial and investment market, investment and sovereign funds, as well as international financial institutions have gathered in Baku. Such global investment organizations as BlackRock/GIP, Franklin Templeton, PGIM, Brookfield, KKR, Ares, Neuberger Berman, as well as the Turkey Wealth Fund, Singapore's Temasek fund, and other major institutional investors are participating in the discussions.

The total volume of assets under management of the organizations represented at the forum amounts to approximately 30 trillion US dollars. The gathering of global investors of such scale in Baku not only demonstrates interest in Azerbaijan's investment opportunities, but also creates important opportunities for promoting the country among major international investors, expanding direct contacts, and strengthening international investment cooperation.
