Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized herself with repair and restoration work at School No. 37 in Ganja

First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughter Arzu Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the repair and restoration works carried out by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation at Ganja city secondary school No. 37.

As reported by AZERTAG, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov and Head of Ganja City Executive Authority Niyazi Bayramov provided information about the capital repair and restoration works being carried out at the school.

It was reported that the educational institution, which was commissioned in 1969, had the capacity to accommodate more than 700 students. However, due to the building's deterioration to an unusable condition, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation began major repairs here in September 2024. The renovation work in the building is planned to be completed in September this year - by the beginning of the new academic year.

It should be noted that by the new academic year, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation plans to complete the construction and renovation of several schools in Baku and the regions.

Since its establishment, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has paid special attention to education. By identifying the development of this sphere as one of the priority directions of its activity and implementing such programs as "New School for Renewing Azerbaijan" and "Support for Education," the Foundation contributes to the development of education in our country. Along with the repair and construction works carried out by the state in schools and measures taken to improve conditions in them, the projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation also serve to improve the quality of education.
