Erdogan: The Zangezur Corridor will become a geoeconomic revolution for the entire region

The Zangezur corridor will create new opportunities not only for Azerbaijan but also for the entire region.

As reported by Turkish media, this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his statement to journalists on board the plane while returning from Azerbaijan.

He noted that he views the Zangezur corridor not only as part of a geopolitical revolution but also a geoeconomic one.

"The opening of the Zangezur corridor will also help the strategic development of the Middle Corridor. Turkish goods will reach Central Asia and China faster via the Caspian Sea, and goods from Europe to China will begin to pass through Turkey," Erdogan explained.
