The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, held a meeting with members of the regional government for the first time in three months. The official wrote about the meeting in his Telegram account.

Kadyrov discussed the progress of the special military operation (SMO) with his subordinates. The head of the local operational headquarters for the SMO, Magomed Daudov, delivered a report.

The head of Chechnya reported that to date, 60,344 fighters from the republic have been sent to the SMO zone, 22,064 of whom are volunteers.

"More than 13 thousand Chechen servicemen are now 'fulfilling combat missions with honor and dignity in key areas,'" added Kadyrov.

The head of the administration of the head and government of Chechnya, Galas Taymaskhanov, said that an SMO Veterans Association public organization will soon be created in the region. It will be aimed at protecting the rights and interests of special operation participants and involving them in public and patriotic activities.

In addition, a non-profit organization "Committee of Homeland Warriors' Families of the Chechen Republic" has appeared in Chechnya, added Kadyrov. Similar to the federal project "Time of Heroes," the republic will launch the "Turpalkho-95" program at Chechen State University to train professional managers from among SMO veterans. The fighters will later be able to work in government bodies, local self-government, and state structures of the republic.
