For the attention of entrepreneurs: a new procedure for locally produced goods has been approved

The "Procedure for Determining the Origin of Non-Oil-and-Gas Goods as Goods Originating from the Republic of Azerbaijan When Paying Export and Domestic Transportation Support Amounts" has been approved.

As reported by Oxu.Az, the corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

This decision applies from September 1, 2026, and remains in effect until December 31, 2036, applying to exports and domestic transportation carried out until September 30, 2036.

According to the resolution, when paying domestic transportation support funds, the Azerbaijani origin of non-oil-and-gas goods will be determined based on the application of the seller (supplier).

For this purpose, the basis will be an expert opinion confirming the Azerbaijani origin of goods, issued by the "Consumer Goods Expertise Center" LLC under the State Agency for Antimonopoly Control and Consumer Market Supervision under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
