Ilham Aliyev and Friedrich Merz discussed the situation in the Middle East
On March 17, a telephone conversation took place between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz.
As reported by BAKU.WS, during the telephone conversation, concerns were expressed regarding the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, and opinions were exchanged on their possible impact on the South Caucasus region.
Merz welcomed the ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, noting its importance for regional stability.
The President of Azerbaijan and the Chancellor of Germany discussed the prospects of bilateral relations, as well as issues of expanding ties between our country and the European Union.
