SOCAR signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an Italian company

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Italian company Technip Energies Italy S.p.a. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SOCAR, the document was signed today at a meeting between the company's President Rovshan Najaf and the Chief Executive Officer of Technip Energies Italy S.p.a. Carlo Corsi.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful partnership established between the two companies, and the importance of expanding mutually beneficial ties by identifying potential areas of cooperation was emphasized.

During the conversation, issues of possible cooperation in the field of implementing production solutions with high flexibility in the use of raw materials in the petrochemical industry, as well as increasing productivity and energy efficiency, were discussed.

The parties exchanged views on the possibilities of Technip Energies Italy S.p.a.'s participation in projects implemented by SOCAR in foreign countries, as well as partnerships on green energy and decarbonization projects.

It should be noted that the document provides for the identification of potential areas of cooperation within the framework of the Petkim Master Plan project.
