SOCAR to become the main global energy sponsor of Italy's national football teams

On September 26, within the framework of the II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum held under the patronage of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Italian Football Federation signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement.

According to the SOCAR press service, under the agreement, from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2030, SOCAR will serve for four years as the Main Global Energy Sponsor of Italy's men's and women's national football teams. The partnership may also be extended for an additional two years - until 2032.

SOCAR noted that this partnership reflects the importance the company attaches to its long-term operations in Italy, as well as its intention to contribute to the further development of Italian football, which is known worldwide for its traditions and achievements.
