Moscow Will Finance Construction of Gas Pipeline to Russia Through Azerbaijan

The pipeline that will allow transporting gas from Iran to Russia will be largely financed by Moscow.

As reported by "Vedomosti," this was announced by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Iran to Russia, Kazem Jalali.

He specified that the pipeline route will pass through Azerbaijan and expressed gratitude to those who supported the project.

"The financing will largely come from Russia. But we are all working together on this project - all three countries: Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan," Jalali explained.
