Azerbaijani boxer Saidjamshed Jafarov became European champion

Azerbaijani boxer Saidjamshid Jafarov (75 kg) won the European Championship gold medal in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

In the final, he defeated Ismail Mutsolgov from Russia with a score of 5:0 (29:28, 29:28, 29:28, 29:28, 29:28).

Thus, the Azerbaijani national team finished the European Championship, in which 406 boxers from 43 countries participated, with five medals - two gold, one silver, and two bronze.

Earlier, boxer Subkhan Mamedov (50 kg) also won gold at the tournament in Sofia, Nabi Iskenderov (70 kg) took silver, and Amin Mamedzade (55 kg) and Muhammad Abdullayev (+90 kg) won bronze.
