Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan summed up the results of the II International Investment Forum
The II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held in Baku under the patronage of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, once again demonstrated the country's open, favorable, and sustainable economic environment for foreign investments, as well as its position as a reliable partner in strategic projects.
Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov reported this on social network X.
According to him, within the framework of the forum, the value of investment agreements reached with international investors and partner companies amounted to $10.8 billion.
Taking into account the projects announced since June of this year within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, the total value of planned joint projects will reach $16.7 billion.
"This is a clear indicator of growing investor confidence in Azerbaijan and the increasing attractiveness of our country as an investment space," noted M. Jabbarov.
He emphasized that investments of this scale will make a significant contribution to economic diversification, the introduction of new technologies and innovations, and the increase in added value and employment.
According to the minister, the participation and speech of the head of state at the event further enhanced the significance of the forum as a platform for economic cooperation.
"We express our gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for his support in holding the Forum, which contributes to a broader presentation of Azerbaijan's investment potential and the creation of new opportunities for cooperation, as well as to the event organizers, government bodies, our partners, and all participants," wrote M. Jabbarov.
