President Ilham Aliyev met with the head of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation

On September 26, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the President of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation Alexander Ospelt.

As reported by AZERTAC, during the conversation it was noted that our country successfully hosts prestigious international sports events, including winter sports competitions, and in this regard it was emphasized that the Formula 1 races held in Baku are also organized at a high level.

It was noted that modern infrastructure for winter sports has been created in Azerbaijan, and it was also reported that a number of prestigious competitions will be held at the Shahdag Tourism Center under the auspices of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation.

The role of the partnership agreement signed last year between the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan and the International Ski and Snowboard Federation in developing the potential of winter tourism and winter sports in our country was emphasized.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the prospects of cooperation between our country and the federation.
