The US lifted the naval blockade of Iranian ports
By order of US President Donald Trump, the American military has lifted the naval blockade on Iranian ports and coastal territories. This was reported by the Pentagon's Central Command on the social media platform X.
"US forces have lifted the blockade on all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas in accordance with the President's directive," the command's statement said.
They also emphasized that the American military is no longer creating obstacles for the passage of vessels heading to or departing from Iranian ports.
"All actions to maintain the military blockade by the United States have been fully ceased," the agency noted.
At the same time, the agency clarified that American ships will remain in the region after the lifting of the blockade in order to monitor compliance with the terms of the agreement between Washington and Tehran.
