Large-scale X outage due to fire

A large-scale technical failure has paralyzed the operation of the social network X in the United States. According to the DownDetector service, over 5,000 users have already registered complaints about malfunctions in the functioning of the platform owned by Elon Musk.
The official X support account confirmed the presence of serious problems, citing an accident at one of the company's strategic data centers as the cause. Platform representatives reassured users with a message that a team of engineers has already been deployed to mitigate the consequences and restore the service.
The reputable publication Wired, citing its own sources, reports a fire at the data center that Musk's company leases in Hillsboro (Oregon). Official confirmation of the connection between the fire and the current malfunctions in the social network's operation has not yet followed. Regional fire service representatives are also refraining from comments.
At the time of publication, the technical failure has been ongoing for several hours in a row, although the dynamics of incoming new complaints shows a downward trend, which may indicate a gradual restoration of the platform's functionality.
Analysts emphasize that such technical incidents cause significant damage to the reputation of the social network, which after being acquired by Elon Musk and transformed from Twitter to X has already lost a significant portion of its user base due to controversial changes in content moderation policy and functional capabilities.
