In Brazil, police detained a man who threatened his 13-year-old stepdaughter with publishing her nude photographs. This was reported by Ultimosegundo.
The incident occurred in the municipality of Duque de Caxias. As established by law enforcement agencies, the perpetrator took advantage of bathroom renovations in the house where he lived with his wife and her school-age daughter to install a hidden camera there. Then, after obtaining intimate photographs of his stepdaughter, he created a fake social media account and began blackmailing the girl. The man threatened to post the images online. What exactly the man demanded in exchange for keeping them secret is not specified.
The girl told her mother about what happened, who then contacted the police. On July 7, the pervert was arrested for producing and storing child pornography on electronic devices.
