Several famous hotels to be demolished in Istanbul

The authorities of Turkish Istanbul have decided to demolish illegal structures near the Bosphorus Strait, including well-known hotels, as reported by the Turkish newspaper Turkiye.
"Among them are famous establishments and hotels that are also visited by high society. The Monument Protection Council and the Bosphorus Zoning Authority have decided to demolish buildings on the Bosphorus where illegal extensions were found," the article states.
According to Haberturk publication, illegal floor coverings and terraces were discovered in many places, especially along the Bebek Arnavutköy line.
Among other establishments with recorded violations were the "Beylan" bakery, "Bebek" and "Mandarin" hotels.
