A strong earthquake has occurred in another country, a tsunami threat has been declared

A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 occurred off the coast of Chile, as reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The underground tremors were recorded at a shallow depth - just 10 kilometers from the surface, which significantly increases their destructive potential.

Due to the high intensity of the underground tremors, a tsunami threat has been declared for coastal areas. At the moment, no information about casualties or destruction has been received.
