A passenger plane was forced to land in China due to a power bank catching fire in the cabin

There was a fire on board an Air China Airbus A321, which, according to preliminary data, was caused by a power bank ignition. The footage of the incident was published by the Baza Telegram channel.
The emergency situation occurred during the flight at an altitude of about ten kilometers, when the plane was traveling from Hangzhou to Seoul. The source of the fire was in one of the passenger's overhead compartment, after which smoke quickly began to spread throughout the cabin.
The crew decided to make an emergency landing at Shanghai Pudong Airport, and the flight attendants managed to extinguish the fire before landing.
