What threatens excessive consumption of strawberries - WARNING

With the beginning of the strawberry season, medical professionals remind: despite all the beneficial properties, excessive consumption of strawberries can harm the body.
Allergic reaction is the most common consequence. Strawberries contain substances that stimulate the release of histamine, which can cause rashes, itching, swelling, and even anaphylaxis in sensitive people.
Stomach irritation. Due to high acidity and the presence of small seeds, strawberries can aggravate gastritis and increased stomach acid.
Kidney problems. Strawberries are rich in oxalic acid, and its excess can provoke the formation of kidney stones in predisposed individuals.
Sugar and pesticides. Strawberry is one of the "dirtiest" berries in terms of chemical residue content. Eating it in large quantities without thorough washing increases the toxic load on the body.
Doctors recommend limiting consumption to 200-300 grams per day, especially for children, allergy sufferers, and people with chronic gastrointestinal or kidney diseases.
