Haber Global: Turkish-Azerbaijani friendship often becomes a target on social media
Disinformation and unfounded claims targeting the friendship and cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan are spreading on social media.
As reported by BAKU.WS, a segment prepared by Haber Global TV channel tells about how certain forces are trying to cast a shadow over the relations between the two countries.
It is noted that circles concerned about the concept of "one nation, two states" are conducting a systematic disinformation campaign against Turkish-Azerbaijani relations through social media. Some accounts use fake names and photos, spreading various unfounded claims, manipulated footage, and offensive expressions.
The report emphasizes that such publications became particularly widespread after a certain video from the UN General Assembly emerged, as a result of which Azerbaijan's national identity and its fraternal relations with Turkey became targets.
