Jeyhun Bayramov held 37 bilateral meetings and signed 17 documents in New York

Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov concluded the high-level week within the framework of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York with intensive diplomatic meetings.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a publication by the foreign affairs ministry on the social network X.

It was noted that during the visit, J. Bayramov held a number of bilateral meetings, participated in various discussions, and signed bilateral documents on behalf of Azerbaijan. The meetings held were of great importance in terms of advancing Azerbaijan's foreign policy priorities and strengthening bilateral partnerships.

Thus, the activities of the Azerbaijani delegation during the high-level week demonstrated the country's continued active contribution to the multilateral agenda. During the discussions, the focus was on issues such as peace, stability, regional and transregional connectivity, as well as the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

According to the information, during the visit J. Bayramov held a total of 37 bilateral meetings with counterparts, heads of international organizations, and officials of various states. As a result of the meetings, 17 bilateral documents were signed.

The Minister also spoke at 11 high-level events. Among these events were the General Debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, events under the auspices of the G-77 and China, the Global Development Initiative (GDI), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), the Organization of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC), the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir, the session on the Trans-Caspian Route and the TRIPP route, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce roundtable, and the World Trade Organization's reception for global economic leaders.

"Azerbaijan intends to continue cooperating with international partners, actively contributing to the advancement of peace and stability, the development of connectivity, and the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
