Ramiz Mehdiyev's daughter lost the court case

Final decision announced on the complaint of Kamila Aliyeva, daughter of former Head of Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev, regarding the confiscation of Baku Oxford School.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Qafqazinfo, the Baku Court of Appeal found K.Aliyeva's complaint unfounded.
The judicial panel chaired by Judge Faig Ganiyev confirmed that the school was built using funds misappropriated from Baku Steel Company. For this reason, neither Kamila Aliyeva nor the school's founder Mehriban Mamedova have ownership rights to the property.
Recall that the former head of Baku Steel Company Rasim Mamedov was arrested by the State Security Service (SSS). He was sentenced to 13 years and 9 months imprisonment on charges of misappropriating an especially large sum.
R.Mamedov's property worth millions of manats, including Baku Oxford School, was also confiscated. Kamila Aliyeva claims to be the owner of half of the school building.
Some time ago, the school was put up for auction for 18,527,250 manats.
