Ukraine declared readiness for a 90-day ceasefire
Kyiv is ready for peace negotiations in any format and for a ceasefire for a minimum period of 30 days.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to RBC, this was stated by the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Andriy Sybiga in the department's Telegram channel.
"Russia can demonstrate genuine readiness for peace negotiations by agreeing to a real ceasefire for at least 30 days. If Russia is ready for a 60- or 90-day ceasefire, we are also ready," he noted.
The minister indicated that Kyiv wants to see Moscow's readiness "for a difficult path to peace." He called on Russia to agree "to a real and lasting ceasefire," after which negotiations could begin.
