Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met on September 14 with a delegation of the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers.

During the meeting, the high level of the established long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and the ADB was noted with satisfaction.

The significance of jointly implemented projects in the areas of transport, energy, water supply, finance, education, healthcare, and other fields was emphasized, and the existence of good opportunities for expanding cooperation within the framework of the public-private partnership mechanism was noted.

The Country Partnership Strategy for 2025-2029 was assessed as an important framework for a new stage of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the ADB, and attention was drawn to the alignment of the envisaged new projects in the areas of energy, transport, and water infrastructure with the long-term development priorities of our country.

Prospects for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank were also discussed.

Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev also participated in the meeting.
