US President Donald Trump stated that Iran is likely involved in the strike on the East-West oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia.
Responding to journalists' questions about possible Iranian involvement, the American leader said: "I think it's them. It's probably them."
Trump made this statement during a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin in Dublin. The event was broadcast by the RTE television channel.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of Saudi Arabia announced the preventive shutdown of the East-West oil pipeline in sections near Medina and Riyadh following drone attacks.
The drones are believed to have been launched by Iraqi Shiite groups supported by Iran.
