Trump Unexpectedly Issues Ultimatum to Russia

US President Donald Trump called on Russia and Ukraine to negotiate and warned of possible tough measures against Moscow. He stated that he is ready to impose large-scale tariffs and sanctions against Russia's banking sector if the parties do not achieve a ceasefire.

Trump wrote about this on his Truth Social network.

"Right now Russia is literally dominating Ukraine on the battlefield, and I am seriously considering imposing major sanctions against the Russian banking sector, as well as tariffs and other restrictions, until a truce and final peaceful settlement is reached," he emphasized.
