Trump declared May 8 and November 11 in the USA as Victory Days

US President Donald Trump made a bold statement about the role of the United States in World War II, emphasizing his country's exceptional contribution to achieving victory.
In his account on the social network Truth Social, the American leader wrote: "Many of our allies celebrate May 8 as Victory Day, but it was we who did more for victory than any other country."
Trump also noted that the US prevailed in both the First and Second World Wars. "No one came close to Americans in courage, strength, and military prowess," the president emphasized, adding that it's time to "celebrate our victories again."
In this regard, the head of the White House made a decision to rename commemorative dates: "I am renaming May 8 as World War II Victory Day, November 11 - World War I Victory Day."
