Father of Isa, who carried out a massacre at a school: "My son often played interactive games"
During the court hearing, the testimony of the father of Isa Aras Mersinli — the teenager who carried out a massacre at a school in Kahramanmaraş — was revealed. The shooter's father, police chief Ugur Mersinli, gave testimony that sheds light on the events preceding the tragedy.
As reported by BAKU.WS, in his testimony he stated that his son frequently played interactive games, and whenever his father entered the room, he would immediately close everything that was open on the computer.
The father also emphasized that a psychologist had warned him about his son's difficulties with social adaptation and the need to keep him under observation.
According to the testimony, approximately one month before the tragedy, Isa told his father that his friends were shooting firearms and asked when he himself would be able to shoot.
Ugur Mersinli added that several days before the incident, he went to a police shooting range where he fired his personal weapon, and allowed his son to fire several shots as well.
