Israel Defense Forces General Staff approved new operational plans against Iran
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have approved a new plan of military operations against Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
As reported by Interfax, this was announced by the IDF Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir at the location of the 162nd Division in the Beit Lif area in Lebanon.
"Yesterday, at a General Staff meeting, I approved plans for the future: we continue to assess the situation and approve the plan of action both in Lebanon and in Iran," he said.
"During a joint operation with American forces, we dealt a serious blow to the Iranian regime, stripped it of its defensive capabilities, and weakened it. Now we must not allow it to achieve success in its nuclear program, the Strait of Hormuz, and other issues on the agenda," the general noted, adding that the IDF is at a "very high level of readiness."
"Air Force aircraft are armed and ready for combat, targets are loaded into the systems. We know how to immediately deliver a powerful strike," Zamir emphasized.
