Pashinyan: Yerevan and Washington want to implement the "Trump route" as soon as possible

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Yerevan and Washington wish to implement the "Trump Route (TRIPP)" project as soon as possible.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Armenian media, during the government question time in parliament, the head of the Cabinet noted that the Armenian side received assurances at the highest level from Washington about continued interest in the project.

"The pace of implementation has accelerated even more recently. A few days ago, the issue of constructing power transmission lines within the route ahead of schedule was discussed. Baku is also interested in accelerating the project's pace," the Prime Minister said.

A month ago, Pashinyan said that events surrounding Iran could delay the implementation of TRIPP. Today he stated that there was indeed some concern. But in the near future, the degree of involvement in the project will only increase.
