The issue of compensation in connection with the AZAL plane crash is being resolved

The resolution of the compensation issue related to the AZAL plane crash is undoubtedly the result of the principled position of the Azerbaijani state.

This was stated by Shabnam Hasanova, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences and political analyst, in her commentary to Oxu.Az.

She noted that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, having demonstrated strong political will and strategic vision, kept the ongoing processes under control.

"It should be noted that the payment of compensation based on the agreement reached at the meeting of the two heads of state in Dushanbe also serves as a logical outcome of this approach. This once again demonstrates that even the most complex problems can be resolved in conditions of mutual understanding and political dialogue, based on mutual respect.

One of the main points drawing attention in this process was the solidarity demonstrated by both the Azerbaijani state and the Azerbaijani people on the issue of compensation related to the AZAL plane crash. It was precisely this factor that played an important role in the achieved result. Restoring justice, ensuring accountability, and achieving full transparency were the fundamental principles at the heart of the issue. Azerbaijan, having demonstrated political will, achieved the restoration of justice, ensured accountability, and conducted the process transparently. The objective investigation of the causes of the plane crash and providing the public with detailed information remained at the forefront as one of the issues treated with particular sensitivity. Azerbaijan did not retreat from its principled position at any stage and took consistent steps toward protecting national interests. This approach once again demonstrates that Azerbaijan is a state with a principled position in ensuring the rule of law, and the protection of its citizens always remains one of the priority areas of state policy," the political analyst added.
