The residents of the Ukrainian city paid deep respect to the memory of Zarifa Aliyeva

The city of Irpin symbolizes the friendship between Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Here, the name of the renowned Azerbaijani academician Zarifa Aliyeva has been immortalized on a broad level. A monument to the outstanding scientist has been erected in the city, and one of the central streets, as well as a lyceum, bear her name.

On April 15, representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine, together with local residents, honored the memory of the outstanding academician by visiting her bust in Irpin.

One of the local residents, in a comment to Baku TV, highlighted Zarifa Aliyeva's significant contribution to science and expressed deep respect for her personality.

According to the interviewee, the scientist's name is well-known and revered in Ukraine, and the preservation of her memory in Irpin is an important and positive symbol of friendship between our peoples. He also stated that he holds the Aliyev family in great respect.
