"The Sleeping Prince" of Saudi Arabia died after 20 years in a coma

In Saudi Arabia, a member of the royal family, Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al Saud, known as the "sleeping prince," who had been in a coma for more than 20 years, has died.
"Prince Al-Waleed bin Khalid bin Talal Al Saud, known as the 'sleeping prince,' has died at the age of 35, after spending about 20 years in a coma in one of the specialized medical centers in Saudi Arabia," the publication states.
It is specified that Prince Al-Waleed was born in April 1990. He fell into a coma in 2005 after a car accident in London, in which he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and cerebral hemorrhage.
"With great sadness and grief, we mourn our beloved son, Prince Al-Waleed bin Khalid bin Talal bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, may Allah have mercy on him, who passed away today," his father, Prince Khalid bin Talal bin Abdul-Aziz, wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
